New Year New Kitchen Look

Bored with your usual kitchen hue? Why not try experimenting and applying new colors for a more vibrant kitchen in the upcoming 2013?

The kitchen is usually the less colorful, blunt area of the house yet in it is where we spend more time; cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, even preparing and/or having mid afternoon snacks with friends. So with this most time we spend in our kitchen, this part of the house should not have the less energetic shade.

Here are four simple ways to redesign for your 2013 kitchen.

You can update your kitchen by painting a different color on your kitchen cabinets. This makes your cooking room more attractive. You can use bright colors like red, tangerine, and lemon for a more livelier feel. You can also opt for emerald green which was announced by Pantone to be 2013's color of the year; for a harmonized and balanced look. Though you can choose colors that attract your attention, colors may also spray your personality.

Kitchen design trends exhibit a more collaborative and casual way of cooking, preparing, eating, and entertainment; to some households, entertaining might not be included, nevertheless, the kitchen somehow portrays our love especially for our loved ones. The unification of appliances such as microwaves, ovens and fridges should match the cabinetry which gives your kitchen a much cleaner and organized look. This also makes the kitchen look simple and neat.

The era of stained or painted woods had gone, let modernization shed light to your kitchen space. You can paint your cabinets with ashy colors paired with white background.
Though if this paint pairing be applied more commonly, your cook-room may be mildly overpowering. The application however of high-gloss paints on the frames of about two (2) inches around your cabinetry while the rest pf the cabinet is stained provides a sensational effect.

For a more collaborative and artistic atmosphere, you can integrate a mosaic-design of backsplash over your sinks or stoves, appropriate lighting on your island table while your stainless steel appliances will blend well to make a more breathtaking galley.

Lastly, wall murals and wallpapers will do well to complete your renovation. You can put up wall decals between or on your cabinets to make your kitchen look quaint and graphic inspired. Gingham patterns, cottage florals and polka dots on the breakfast bar look fantastic when paired with bright lighting.
